Okay, so Christmas may have been over a month ago, but I am just late, okay? Since my blogging days seem to be slowing down, I wasn’t able (or rather, didn’t have the time) to post these sooner. But I uploaded two Christmas videos onto my YouTube channel. One was my boyfriend and I making fun of creepy old Christmas cartoons, and another is one of all of the Five Nights at Freddy’s characters wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. So, here they are!
This is very late because the fireworks were in June. But I remembered that last year I made a post about them, and how can you not? Fireworks are awesome, they’re definitely worth posting about. This year, it was raining the day of and many thought they’d have to postpone it. Luckily, the rain stopped just hours before, but they had to make it at nine instead of ten. Therefore it was still pretty light outside which took away the dramatic effect, but the fireworks were still awesome nonetheless. Yes, they still had cool shapes this year, like smiley faces and hearts. And yes, the ending was actually better than the other years. It sounded like a million gunshots going off at once for at least a minute, it was pretty intense. The people made me think of myself as a young child, covering my ears to protect them from the loud noise. Hey, it was pretty loud.
Then a couple of days later, we went back downtown to go to the carnival. I actually forced myself to go on a big ride (after hours of debating). It was very fun. Fun rides, good company, nice scenery, and tasty food (and the best cherry lemonade you’ll ever have).
Summer is really fun so far! My boyfriend and I are extremely excited to go to Florida in August. Maybe some of you know why. 😉
I hope you’re all having a great summer so far! Stay safe and have fun! xx
Even just reading this blog’s title makes me feel happy inside. This is the moment I’ve been counting down the days until (literally) ever since I was fifteen with my friends. Seriously. We were like twenty year olds being forced into high school. We didn’t belong. We felt so different, felt more mature than everyone else, like we were all just ready to move on to the next chapter of our lives. Well, we made it, ladies!
My first year of high school, I absolutely loved it. Like, abnormally loved it. Everyone thought I was so weird. So did I, considering I hated school. But grade nine was different. Then hits grade ten, and my personality did like a total shift within two weeks and suddenly, bam, new person, more mature, and just ready to leave. I hated it so much that half the day I was schooled from home (online courses) and I loved that. It made me feel like I was in college, being able to leave during the day and making my own hours. It rocked. That was in grade eleven. Come grade twelve, I felt like I already left high school years ago. I think if I was to suffer with all those teens during school for six hours a day, I would’ve probably formed a flash mob at the graduation from being so happy. But it was just kinda like, “Meh. Mentally I was out of high school when I was fifteen, physically for half days when I was sixteen and seventeen, and now fully out. Yay.” Don’t get me wrong, I am so happy. NO MORE HIGH SCHOOL. FOREVER. It feels like just yesterday I went up to my friend Jimela (by the way, you never let did “Meh meh meh Neptune” like promised Jimela!) and we would just pretty much cry to each other, “Only eight hundred and thirty two days to go!” It’s kinda almost surreal that it’s actually done. I’m very happy writing this right now.
Another plus side is, no more waking up really early for high school anymore! You guys have no idea how many times I did this in the morning, face and all:
Also, I feel like I looked better for grad than I did for prom. Make up or what, I don’t know. What do you think?

GRADUATION:
Well loves, it’s time for me to go beddy-bye. But thanks for taking the time to read. Now I have blue skies ahead of me. Summertime is going to absolutely rock and so is next year! No high school! 😀 I shall miss my friends dearly but with today’s technology, I think we will be just fine. Also, I just gotta ask: how far are you in your education?
Hello world! I haven’t been active on my website much lately, but I have been putting a lot of my time into my videos and animations. There’s been a lot happening for me, like graduating high school forever in a week and never having to go back to that torture chamber again (a little overboard), prom, summer festivals and carnivals, and more! However amidst all of this craziness, I have managed to make a couple more vlogs and a few animations. More cool stuff is being released soon. Click here to subscribe to my channel! xoxo Also, thank you so much for 17,000 subscribers and over 5,000,000 views. I never thought Jacob and I would make it this far!
Now that Christmas and NYE are both over, it’s time for us to go back to school/work and it’s pretty unfortunate. But hopefully we’ve all had an amazing break and will continue to prosper in the new year. So, I ask: How was your holiday?
Hey bloggers! I just released a new segment on my blog called Author Problems. As you may have guessed, it’s all about the funny problems that us bloggers/authors share. Go here to view them and go here to add your own. Also use the hash-tag #AuthorProblems on Facebook and Twitter to share the author problems! Have a great Friday everyone. — Victoria ❣
Since it’s less than two days away until the new year, I decided to write a blog post about blog posts. Literally. So today’s topic is: why I started to blog. I definitely don’t blog as much as I should, but for what I do, I like it. Blogging’s fun. It’s like an online journal for the whole world to read. Somewhere you can place everything you love and write about anything that interests you at all. When I first got my blog, I just wanted it to be a website about me, my novels, my acting career, and my motivational speaking career. Then as time went on, I realized that WordPress was specifically designed to be a blogging platform. So, I began to write more blogs. A lot of opinion pieces, influential quotes, stuff like that. Then as I acted a bit more and did a public speaking event, I realized that juggling three things (being a novelist, actress, and public activist) was too much for me to handle as a career and I just wanted one thing to focus on. Since I’ve been writing books since a little girl, I decided on dropping the acting and motivational speaking titles and just continue on with writing. This is why my blogs are a lot more wordy now, rather than just quotes like they used to be. But I do love quotes still! You probably noticed. My favourite author and I talk sometimes (I know, she’s totally awesome) and she told me that publishers enjoy looking at blog posts and that every good author should have one. Right on! I’m going to stop rambling on now. But in conclusion, what I thought about the day I started writing on my blog was: “Writing’s fun. Blogs are fun. Let’s do this.” And so I have! Oh, and, I get to proclaim my obsession for the colour pink. Also in case you haven’t noticed, which you probably have.
I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! It came and left so early, it always seems. I had a fun time and the gifts were a bit overwhelming (which is an extremely good thing!) The next big event is New Year’s Eve, of course. Then after that, it’s the new year! What are your resolutions this year, if any? I always make a list with ten resolutions and check them off as they come true. This year, I think I got 6/10. Not too shabby! I’m also excited for 2015 because I’m going to start blogging like crazy. Already have a line up with reviews (books, beauty, random items, etc) and other cool stuff. I also want to start connecting with some other bloggers! You can never have too many blog buddies. 🙂 I’m taking a different route now with Mackenzie High. This is also the year that I go crazy with the publication process. Fingers crossed! Wish me luck! And for the writers/readers out there, you know how annoying writer’s block can be. So any suggestions for blog topics would be great! As we close off the Christmas season and welcome in the new year, we step into a clean state and can really make the upcoming year the best one yet! Always stay positive. ❤ — Victoria
