Product Review: Gummy Bear Soap

Today is a product review: gummy bear soap from Vat19! My boyfriend bought this for me for my birthday a couple of years ago, and since my pile of soaps and perfumes is so large, I didn’t even start to use this until a month ago. Even though the expiry date clearly reads May 2015 . . . let’s just pretend we don’t see that.

The flavour that I got is “Piña Colada“. It smells good, but not as good as I thought it would smell. I pictured it kinda being like in just a huge bowl filled to the rim with sweet gummy bears, but it’s more like a hidden scent that you really got to put your mind to if you want to get a whiff of it. Seriously, it’s that hard. Now, my boyfriend kindly pointed out that it could be because of the expiry date, and perhaps if I used it sooner the scent would be more prominent.

As you can read down below, the Soap Facts state that this soap will last 100 hand washes, or 25 showers. I feel like I used it more than 25 times however, so maybe the soap lasts longer than expected! The soap is a good size and obviously an adorable shape. The packaging is perfectly awesome, and if you love gummy bears and piña coladas, then this is the soap for you!

Christmas Is Coming

1416320304237223Guys, it’s almost Christmas 2015! This is so exciting! A lot of great, crazy things have happened this year and I love having Christmas and New Year’s as a time to reflect on everything that has happened. Thank you so much to everyone for always being there for me no matter what. I’ve had an absolutely amazing time this year with my friends, family, and new co-workers! This year I discovered even more about myself, even thought I thought I knew all I needed to!

Last year when I was reliving moments from my childhood by watching old creepy cartoons from decades ago, I stumbled across one with a really old Christmas song. For a whole year I tried searching for it—and I was determined to finally find it this year. After hours of searching on Google, I finally found it! What a relief. It was on a woman’s blog, who, yes, also searched for it for ages until she found it and was kind enough to post it on her own blog to end the suffering of others. It’s a song from 1946 and it’s called “All Around The Christmas Tree”. It is WAY too underrated. There’s two videos of it on YouTube with a very small view count, not to mention the fact that I spent a year looking for it. I feel like it has the potential of being a Christmas classic. Too late, I guess. Check it out here:

There’s less than two weeks until Christmas time. That means under two weeks to buy the perfect present(s), get all your Christmas movie watching time in, and all of the awesome Christmas goodies you get to eat! I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Make it the best one yet! xoxo

The Last Visit

Happy November everyone! I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I wrote a last post. I used to write at least once a day, sometimes even over that! But I guess other things have grabbed my attention lately. However, I did want to post about a video that I uploaded onto my YouTube channel recently! My grandma sold her house in October, and I wanted to document that last time I ever went in it. Why? Because I love that house, that’s why.

I hope you guys liked the video! And I promise that I will make an effort to start blogging more again. :o)

Grant Kirkhope Interview

Grant Kirkhope is the composer of games such as “Banjo-Kazooie” and “Donkey Kong 64” and the upcoming game “Yooka-Laylee”. He’s done a whole bunch of other games too, the ones listed above are just some of my favourites! I had the honour of interviewing him a couple weeks ago. He’s a really cool guy, and gave me a lot of good answers to my questions.

Part one is more about his job as a composer and his work, and part two deals with more personal matters. It was a lot of fun to do and I hope you guys enjoy it! xoxo

Top 10 Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie Songs

In a recent video of mine, I made a list of my fave tunes from the best video game ever created, “Banjo-Kazooie” which was originally released in 1996 on the Nintendo 64. Grant Kirkhope was the composer of these awesome tracks, and I was actually lucky enough to do an interview with him! (Visit my YouTube channel to see the whole interview here.)

BK-music

Some of my fave tracks include “Atlantis” and “King Jingaling’s Throne Room” and more of those great songs we remember from our childhoods. This was a really fun video to make; I shall be making more list videos in the future! xoxo

Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese’s

Hello everyone! I haven’t done a game play video for a while now, and a lot of people wanted me to play a fan made game. So I decided on “Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese’s” which is, yes, a spin off of “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” However, I was not too pleased with this game. Apparently the demo was a lot better, and I think I have to agree.

Anyway, enjoy the video!
