Making A Quarantine Cake
Good morning bloggers! It is currently almost six in the morning and I may or may not have went to bed yet. Quarantine life, am I right? Speaking of quarantine, Jacob and I got a quarantine cake kit from my favorite bakery in the city, Sweet Revenge Bake Shop. We had a lot of fun decorating it, so we decided to film it and upload the video for you guys to watch!
Just a fair warning — it may be an epic fail or it may be the most beautiful cake ever created. We’ll let you decide.

I Tried The “Pokémon GO” Frappuccino

When the “Pokémon GO” app was released in the summer of 2016, Starbucks shortly after came out with a sweet, fruity drink inspired by the game to generate hype around it. Living in Canada, the drink was never released here, and since then has been discontinued in the United States. But I really wanted to try it! Being both a Starbucks and Pokémon fan, I loved the collaboration and was disappointed that it never made its way into Canada.
However, many of Starbucks’ discontinued and fan-inspired beverages end up on the infamous “Secret Menu“, a place where coffee lover’s imaginations run wild and the possibilities are endless. After researching exactly what makes up a “Pokémon GO” Frappucino®, I headed to my local Starbucks and placed my order.
If you want to try ordering this drink, ask for—a venti vanilla bean Frappuccino® with 3 pumps of raspberry syrup and 2 scoops of berries. If ordering a tall or grande size, ask for only 2 pumps or raspberry syrup and 1 scoop of berries.
The verdict? This drink was absolutely scrumptious! The sugary sweetness of the vanilla bean powder mixed with the tartness of the berries delivered a sweet and fruity beverage, perfect for a hot day or an afternoon pick-me-up. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Tamagotchi On Unboxing
If you haven’t already heard, the newest generation of Tamagotchi virtual pet toys have officially arrived. Remember as a child, struggling to keep your little friend happy and fed while simultaneously flushing its poops? Well, they’re back and better than ever!
Introducing the “Tamagotchi On” which comes in four colours―pink fairy, blue fairy, green magic and purple magic. The fairy and magic versions are different in the sense that they come equipped with their own characters and theme parks!
So, if you didn’t know this already, welcome to my blog―I’m obsessed with the colour pink. So if you were wondering, I picked up a pink fairy “Tamagotchi On” at EB Games. Now, they weren’t supposed to be officially released until July 28th 2019 across North America, but for some reason they were released early Canada-wide, on July 10th. (Score!) I was able to purchase mine at the beginning of July.
A super cool feature for this Tamagotchi is the newly released “Tamagotchi On” app on the App Store and Google Play. For the first time ever, you can send your virtual pet onto your device to play games, win prizes, make friends, and get married to another Tamagotchi from anywhere in the world directly from your mobile device! How awesome is that?!

Christmas Cake Pops Recipe ✶
Happy holidays! With only nine days left remaining until Christmas, it’s the perfect time to bake some holiday goodies for you, your friends, and the whole family. These peppermint cake pops are perfect, as they serve up to fifteen people. They are delicious and easy to make, so turn up the Christmas tunes, and let’s get baking!
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons of butter (2 for cake pop batter, 2 for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of milk
- 3 candy canes
- 15 cake pop sticks
- 200g of white chocolate
- Cupcake or cake mix of your choice
Directions for Cake Pop Batter
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease an 8 x 8 inch cake pan.
- Combine cupcake or cake mix, butter, water, and egg. Using an electric mixer, beat only until well-combined.
- Distribute batter into prepared pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cool completely.
- When cake has cooled, cut into quarters and crumble by hand into a large mixing bowl.
Directions for Frosting
- Using an electric mixer, beat butter on high for one minute, or until light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar and mix just until combined.
- Add milk and beat on high for one minute.
Directions for Cake Pops
- Add frosting to cake and mix together using an electric mixer util mixture can easily be shaped into balls.
- Roll cake into 15 balls and place on a waxed paper-lined plate before setting in a freezer for 20 minutes to firm and make assembly easier.
- When freezer time is almost finished, heat white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl just until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Immediately remove cake balls from freezer. One at a time, take one cake pop stick and dip the end 1/2 inch into the melted white chocolate. Insert into cake ball.
- Dip cake pop into melted white chocolate and gently tap against side of bowl to remove excess. Work quickly as cake balls may start to soften.
- Crush candy canes into small, fine pieces into a bowl while coating is still warm and dip the top of the cake pops in to cover. Serve and enjoy!

My Fave Blogs
If you’re on the internet daily then odds are you have some blogs that are your absolute favourites. Here are a few bloggers that make me smile.
1.) Zoella
Sadly, Zoella doesn’t blog as much as she used to. Because now she’s on YouTube full time! At least this way we can see more of her beautiful face. Zoe Sugg—known famously as Zoella—is a British beauty and lifestyle blogger. She’s a fashionista and a beauty queen. Everything from her laugh, to her accent, to her eyes, to her smile (and mostly her hair) is just stunning. I could read her blogs all day! She’s got great advice, and keeps quite a stylish blog. Please post more often, Zoella!
2.) Fat Mum Slim
Yes, you read that right. A lot of people think Chantelle’s blog is “Fat Muslim”, but it’s “Fat Mum Slim.” Just take a second glance. Now I think a lot of families and mothers read her blog, but it’s not all family oriented. She’s got a lot of great advice regarding writing and blogging. She makes lists of things to blog about, recipes, blogging tips, and more. She’s one cool Australian lady!
3) Lisi Harrison
Lisi is actually one of my fave authors, and she just so happens to be the one who inspired me to start writing my books. So thanks, Lisi! She’s also gave me lots of writing advice before and even told me that I have a lovely website. She’s so sweet! She’s the author of lots of series such as “The Clique”, “The Alphas”, “Monster High”, “The Pretenders”, and one that not too many people know about considering she’s a young adult writer and this book is erotic, ‘The Dirty Book Club”. And yes, she is the one who invented the real “Monster High” that all of the children love today! Go check out her blog. She’s hilarious, spunky, sassy, sweet, and gives great advice and tips for girls.

The Latest and Greatest
Calling all animation fans! Last week I uploaded two new SFMs: “Mangle Kisses Foxy” and “The New Hot Mangle”. The first one is the next “Mean Girls” parody and the other is an original, which was inspired by the “Spongebob Squarepants” episode “The Two Faces of Squidward” where Squidward gets hit in the face by a door then suddenly turns gorgeous. There are a few nip slips in our video, though, just to warn you. Sorry. We tried our best to use the blur effect but I guess it just didn’t want to cover a fox’s chest.
Emoji Poop Pillow (And Other Reviews)
I love online shopping, there’s no doubt about that. So when I was looking on Fancy and saw a whole bunch of Emoji plush pillows, I knew I needed it right then and there. The ones on Fancy are over twenty dollars each so I went on Amazon where they are only about twenty dollars each. I was tempted to buy the hearts for eyes one, but of course, being me, I bought the poop. Come on, it’s nothing but shitty! It’s adorable, great price, soft, and shipping came fairly quickly. Along with this, I also got a dog key chain that just so happens to have (more) poop coming out of its butt. This is a little cute doggy, very cheeky grin on his face. I wonder why? It’s only three dollars but with shipping it was over twenty. Was it worth it? Not sure, but who cares.
