Meet Jasper

After the loss of my pet hamster Hammie last February, I was on a search to find the one pet I wanted more than any other. A skinny pig. What is a skinny pig? A hairless guinea pig. I know, they sound weird. You think of pink and wrinkly when you hear hairless, but they’re actually the most adorable things ever. No store in my city had them, and the store owners said whenever they do have them, they’re usually gone within a few hours to a day. Yup, they’re pretty popular, everyone loves these things. So I had to wait a week until they had one, and my mom fell in love with him even before I did. He’s cuddly, he cries when he’s upset. he whines when he wants food, and he purrs when you pet him, and he snuggles up to you. A small animal that cuddles with you? I’m in love!

I’m not sure what I love more. The big eyes, the floppy ears, or the cute little muzzle. I love it all! I named him Jasper after Jasper T. Jowls from Chuck E. Cheese. He’s the dog mascot (there’s a mouse, chicken, monster, dog, and a human mascot). And he’s my favourite one so like I do with literally all of my pets, I named him before I even got him or saw what he looked like. But I think it fits him quite well!

They live five to eight years rather than one to two like hamsters, so we have a long journey ahead of us! So glad I got this little baby, he’s absolutely precious. ❤

See you soon,

Halloween Is Coming

Halloween is coming! Halloween is my second favourite holiday of the year, next to Christmas.

I didn’t get a picture of all of my decorations, but my house looks pretty cool for Halloween. There’s gravestones everywhere, cobwebs, spiders, bones, creepy gates, a guy that looks like Voldemort from Harry Potter, skeleton guys wearing black head cloth, and a dead bride and groom. The dead groom is looking creepily at the dead bride, and there’s purple, green, and black lights everywhere. Since I wasn’t able to get a photo of all of them yet, here’s a picture of what my garden looked like a few days ago (since then I’ve added more stuff):

So let’s take a look at the stuff I have done so far to get prepared for Halloween . . .

1.) Put Halloween decorations up on the inside of my house.

Check.

2.) Put Halloween decorations up on the outside of my house.

Check.

3.) Bought Halloween nail decals.

Check.

4.) Drank an infinite number of pumpkin spice frappuccinos and lattes.

Check.

5.) Have my outfit ready for Halloween night.

Check.

6.) Baked Halloween Pillsbury cookies. (A must for Halloween and Christmas. Best cookies EVER.)

Check.

7.) Bought pointless items just because they were Halloween themed.

Check.

8.) Watched so many Halloween movies that I cannot even count them all.

Check.

9.) Planned what movie I will see on Halloween night.

Check.

10.) Planned what haunted house I will go to on Halloween night.

Check.

11.) Am prepared to be scared!

Check…?

So, what do you guys think? Am I ready yet for Halloween? Have a great rest of the week everyone! It’s almost Friday! 🙂

Love, Victoria
