This is so crazy because I never expected this to happen in my life. I have needle phobia and have surprised myself over the years. At thirteen I had my lobes pierced twice on each ear, then at sixteen I randomly wanted a nose piercing one day and just went along with it very spontaneously, then by September 2015 at age eighteen I just had an urge to get my cartilage pierced (which I did right away) and get a tattoo (which I didn’t do until December 2015.)
I have a friend who is a tattoo artist so he very kindly offered to do my tattoo for free. It’s a bow with a heart, a small tattoo above my thumb on my hand. It’s super cute! It took a bit over thirty minutes to complete. It did hurt, it stung like needles repeatedly going into my skin . . . which it is. But it’s tolerable pain; I definitely want more tattoos in the future. I already have them planned out. LOL!
So if you’re worried about the pain, then don’t be. Just bring someone along to chat with and keep your mind occupied on something else, or, how great it will look when it’s done! But make sure you really want it; you have it for life! xoxo
I made a video all about my experience including choosing my tattoo, the placing, after-care, etc. Check it out below:
Hey guys! Jacob and I celebrated our one year YouTube anniversary on January 17. To celebrate we made a little video just thanking everyone for their great support over the past year. We absolutely loved making videos and we will continue to do so (hopefully for a long time!) To support us, please click here to subscribe.
Thank you! xoxo
Okay, so Christmas may have been over a month ago, but I am just late, okay? Since my blogging days seem to be slowing down, I wasn’t able (or rather, didn’t have the time) to post these sooner. But I uploaded two Christmas videos onto my YouTube channel. One was my boyfriend and I making fun of creepy old Christmas cartoons, and another is one of all of the Five Nights at Freddy’s characters wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. So, here they are!
Happy November everyone! I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I wrote a last post. I used to write at least once a day, sometimes even over that! But I guess other things have grabbed my attention lately. However, I did want to post about a video that I uploaded onto my YouTube channel recently! My grandma sold her house in October, and I wanted to document that last time I ever went in it. Why? Because I love that house, that’s why.
I hope you guys liked the video! And I promise that I will make an effort to start blogging more again. :o)
Grant Kirkhope is the composer of games such as “Banjo-Kazooie” and “Donkey Kong 64” and the upcoming game “Yooka-Laylee”. He’s done a whole bunch of other games too, the ones listed above are just some of my favourites! I had the honour of interviewing him a couple weeks ago. He’s a really cool guy, and gave me a lot of good answers to my questions.
Part one is more about his job as a composer and his work, and part two deals with more personal matters. It was a lot of fun to do and I hope you guys enjoy it! xoxo
In a recent video of mine, I made a list of my fave tunes from the best video game ever created, “Banjo-Kazooie” which was originally released in 1996 on the Nintendo 64. Grant Kirkhope was the composer of these awesome tracks, and I was actually lucky enough to do an interview with him! (Visit my YouTube channel to see the whole interview here.)
Some of my fave tracks include “Atlantis” and “King Jingaling’s Throne Room” and more of those great songs we remember from our childhoods. This was a really fun video to make; I shall be making more list videos in the future! xoxo
Hello everyone! I haven’t done a game play video for a while now, and a lot of people wanted me to play a fan made game. So I decided on “Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese’s” which is, yes, a spin off of “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” However, I was not too pleased with this game. Apparently the demo was a lot better, and I think I have to agree.
Anyway, enjoy the video!
Hey everyone! Recently an awesome website called Dressin.com sent me some cool stuff to try out. I made a YouTube video reviewing the products, which were a romper and a bunch of make up brushes. Currently for October, the entire website is 40% off. Go check it out! Not only are their prices amazing, but their clothes and other accessories are also great, too. I’ll leave you guys with both a link to the website and the video to my review. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! xoxo
Hello everyone, like promised, I made a YouTube video about my cartilage piercing experience and today I have uploaded it. So I will leave it down below. Enjoy! If you have any other questions about my cartilage piercing, don’t shy away! :-)
