About Victoria Hecnar

From a young age, Victoria Hecnar was interested in literature and the English language. She began writing novels and short stories as a child. Following high school, Victoria attended college and earned a diploma in Early Childhood Education, then completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Creative Writing with a minor in Indigenous Studies. In 2023, she took part in a mentorship program with Audible to write her upcoming novel, one that focuses on Indigeneity. Victoria is both Plains Cree and Ukrainian, and is a proud member of the Ochapowace Nation in Saskatchewan.

Victoria is also known as Miss Baby Vee, a synth-pop singer who first began releasing music in the summer of 2024. You can listen to her music and follow her on social media here.
