Christmas Lush Haul 2020

FotoJetMerry (belated) Christmas 2020! Ever since 2017, I have been blogging about my hauls at Lush during the Christmas season. Lush always has such great seasonal items, especially around the holidays. If you want to try every single Christmas product that Lush rolled out this year, you can dish out $279.95 CAD and grab the entire Christmas collection, aka the Wow Gift Set (update: it’s now 50% off for a limited time) by purchasing here → https://www.lush.ca/en/gifts/all-gift-sets/wow/9999960409.html

I tried some of the same items from previous hauls but also picked up a couple new ones to try this year as well! Although Christmas has since passed, these items are still available in stores (where the lockdown is lifted) and on the Lush website 24/7. Some items are even on sale for up to 50% off now that Christmas is over!

Snow Fairy Body Spraybackgrounder (1)

The Christmastime scent Snow Fairy is my favourite, and has been for years now. Naturally, I had to pick up several items in the scent, as I absolutely love it. It only comes once a year―so why not? New this year, Lush has finally introduced a Snow Fairy scented body spray, so you can carry this scent with you whenever you go. I am so excited to finally have a spray in this scent. Although it isn’t as potent as a perfume would be, the scent lasts throughout the day. Carry it with you in your bag and touch up on the go! It smells like sugary cotton candy, so this one is perfect for all candy and sugar lovers.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/fragrances/body-sprays/snow-fairy/9999908423.html

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner backgrounder-2.jpg

Similar to the body spray, this sugary scented body conditioner can be used in the bath and/or shower for perfectly smooth skin. It works amazingly in the wintertime, as the cold air is super dry and can strip your skin of its natural moisture. This body conditioner instantly moisturizers your skin, and seals it for protection against the winter air.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/shower/body-butters-conditioners/snow-fairy/9999960276.html

Snow Fairy Wonderball Bath Bomb backgrounder (3)

Scented with the same classic Snow Fairy scent as the original Snow Fairy bath bomb, this bath bomb is twice as large and can be split up into three (or more) separate baths. The star at the top pops off, revealing two bath bombs with bath salts in the middle. This is a great deal for those who wish to get more use out of their bath bombs, and the bath salts are a wonderful surprise!

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bath-bombs/snow-fairy-wonderball/9999902204.html

Holly Golightly Wonderball Bath Bombbackgrounder (4)

This one is another bath bomb that can be divided into three (or more) separate baths. The cute mistletoe at the top pops off as its own bath bomb, and the other two halves can be used separately, as well as the bath salts in the middle. The scent is uplifting and has notes of citrus for a nice, relaxing bath experience.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bath-bombs/holly-golightly-wonderball/9999901981.html

Elfie Stick Bubble Stickbackgrounder (5)

The Elfie Stick (play on words of selfie stick perhaps?) is a reusable bubble stick shaped like the leg of an elf, though its leg reminds me of a waffle cone―just me? This is another uplifting product, with notes of lemon.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/elfie-stick/9999902103.html

Kinky Boots Bubble Barbackgrounder-6.jpg

If you have ever wanted Santa’s ass in your bathtub, then you’re in luck! This kinky bubble bar features Santa ass up in his signature boots for a bubbly experience. This bubble bar contains a light floral scent with notes of jasmine. It also has ylang ylang oil for relaxation, and cocoa butter for added moisture to your skin.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/kinky-boots/9999902063.html

I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas Bath Bombbackgrounder (7)

Based off of the traditional holiday song, this holiday bath bomb is designed after the lovable hippopotamus from the classic Christmas tune. This bath bomb will turn your bath water a deep purple, and includes specks of glitter on the hippo’s back.

backgrounder-8.jpg

It has a stimulating scent of grapefruit and bergamot oil―but the real winner here is that adorable hippopotamus face.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bath-bombs/i-want-a-hippopotamus-for-christmas/9999902223.html

Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Barbackgrounder-9.jpg

Aside from all of the Snow Fairy products, this polar bear bubble bear is one of my favourites on this list. Other than it being adorable, the scent is invigorating and delicious. It smells like sugary toothpaste―perhaps that’s not the best way to describe it, but it was the first thing that popped in my mind. It contains spearmint oil to achieve that super minty scent.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/polar-bear-plunge/9999909453.html

Abracadabra Bubble Stickbackgrounder (10)

Now, I’m not 100% sure that this item is a part of the holiday collection, but it was new to me and in the same section as the Christmas stuff. The name peeked my interest, along with the simple yet unique shape of the stick. It’s just a little purple stick with glitter at its ends, though I found it to be quite pretty. This stick contains bergamot oil, much like a lot of the other items on this list―Lush must have been into the citrus scents this year.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/abracadabra/9999901896.html

Candy Cane Bubble Barbackgrounder-11.jpg

The last item is one that I have used in the past, which is the candy cane bubble bar. As the name suggests, it’s shaped like a candy cane and comes equipped with a peppermint-meets-lemon scent. It can be broken up for multiple uses.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/candy-cane/9999902060.html

Christmas Lush Haul 2019

Ho ho ho,

It’s that time of year again! And as for always, each holiday when Lush rolls out their seasonal collection, I go and swoop up my fave items to review! Christmastime at Lush is probably one of the best times to go shopping, as their products are adorable (and might I recommend “Snow Fairy” to anyone)?

Since Christmas is right around the corner (like, two days away), I thought it would be a good time to share with you my top picks this holiday season. You can check them out yourself at your local Lush store or on their website!

Santa Bubble Bar

This cute bubble bar instantly caught my eye. It’s glittery, smells like citrus, and looks just like Santa Claus. The notes featured in this product are neroli, zingy lime, and crisp lemon myrtle. I love bubble bars because unlike bath bombs, they’re reusable, so you can enjoy them multiple times!

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/santa/9999901112.html

Santa

Snow Fairy Bath Bomb

My long-term blog readers will know that the “Snow Fairy” is by far my most favorite scent at Lush. It smells sweet like cotton candy and leaves your skin feeling and smelling fantastic. The “Snow Fairy” comes in many different products, including: bath bombs, bubble bars, body conditioners, shower gels, dusting powders, and more. I love how the bath bomb version is two different colors — I like to think of it kind of like an Elsa & Anna from Frozen bath bomb.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bath-bombs/snow-fairy/9999901070.html

Snow Fairy 1Snow Fairy 2

Santa Claus & Rudolph Bath Bombs

Aren’t these super adorable?! They’re mini bath bombs, packed with a floral scent and cocoa butter to soften your skin.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bath-bombs/rudolph/9999901077.html

Santa and Rudolph

Candy Cane Bubble Bar

Similar to the Santa bubble bar, this candy cane can be reused for several baths! I had to pick up this one, because what’s Christmas without a candy cane or two?! This candy cane is scented with touches of lemon and bergamot oils for an uplifting and fragrant bath experience.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/bubble-bars/candy-cane/9999908378.html

Candy Cane

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner

It is impossible for Victoria Hecnar to hit up Lush during the holidays and only pick up one “Snow Fairy” scented item. Next to the bath bomb, I also love the body conditioner. This is to be used in the shower — rub it all over, rinse it off, and you’re done! It’s one of the softest creams I’ve ever used on my skin, and probably the sweetest, too. Your skin (and senses) will thank you — plus, it comes in three sizes to choose from (90 grams, 210 grams, or 500 grams).

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/christmas/christmas-products/snow-fairy/01132.html

Snow Fairy ConditionerSFC 2

Don’t Look At Me Fresh Face Mask

This one isn’t really a Christmas item per say, but it’s the last fresh face mask that I wanted to try. Now, I can officially say I have tried them all! (Psst, “Cupcake” was my favorite. Surprised?) This mask leaves your skin bright and glowing, and it’s the perfect pick-me-up after all of the holiday stress you and your skin have endured.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/christmas/christmas-products/snow-fairy/01132.html

Don't Look at Me

Luxury Lush Pud Giant Bombshell

Sorry, it was wrapped too beautifully and contained all the powdery mess of a bath bomb too well for me to rip it apart for the picture. I didn’t actually use this one yet, as I usually wait to visit a hotel with a large jacuzzi before breaking out one of these bad boys. But what I can say is that it was extremely colorful, with scents of bright bergamot and fruity blackcurrant — and that I am looking forward to trying it.

When your skin needs some sustenance, roll into the tub with this fizzer for a creamy, uplifting soak. Sink into soothing, opaque waters while the zesty Brazilian orange and Sicilian red mandarin oil work their wonders on your tired senses. The middle of the bath bomb can work as either a moisturizing center, or can be popped out and held under running water for a bubble bath experience. Don’t forget to drop the rest of the bath bomb to your water once the tub is filled up!

IMG_0374

Lamb Bath Bomb

After scouring Lush’s website, it appears that this little cutie was a limited edition for Easter and is no longer available to purchase on their website. Still, it was too adorable not to share. The Lamb bath bomb is two bath bombs in one — one for the head and one for the torso. Also I got a super rare one, both sides of the head had a face on it! The employee told me it was a manufacturer error, as it was supposed to only come with the face on one side.

IMG_0358

Monster Bath Bomb

Unfortunately this one also seems to be a limited time item, as it is no longer for sale on their website. But, look at how adorable that little face is! Similar to the lamb, the monster is also a bath bomb duo consisting of two bath bombs to make up its body.

IMG_0357

Scrubee Body Butter

This is one that I have gotten plenty of times before, as it is one of my favorite items that Lush carries. The Scrubee is a little bee shaped tool that acts as both a body scrub and a moisturizer. Use the front of the bee to exfoliate and the back to massage the butters into your skin. The scent is a warm vanilla and honey combination that you will enjoy thoroughly.

Purchase here → https://www.lush.ca/en/shower/body-butters-conditioners/scrubee/07188.html

IMG_0381

Cherryish Body Scrub

This is another stock up for me! Ever since they released this deliciousness for Valentine’s Day in 2017, it was such a big hit that they decided to bring it back permanently. It’s a chocolate cherry scented body scrub after all — what’s not to love?!

Purchase here →  https://www.lush.ca/en/shower/body-scrubs/cherryish/07917.html

IMG_0383

Carrot Cake Lip Scrub

The new carrot cake lip scrub is so delicious. It’s packed with lots of vitamins and moisturizers to give your lips the treatment they deserve. The scent is full of cinnamon and ginger notes, with a hint of carroty cake.

Christmas & Winter Lush Haul 2017

It’s that time of year again  . . .

Christmas & Winter Lush Haul!

Lush is by far one of my favorite stores to shop in. As I’ve said before, they’re made from all natural materials, are against animal testing, are fair trade . . . What’s not to like? In this 2017 edition of Lush’s Christmas/winter items, it gets crazy good with new “Snow Fairy” items, and more!

20171207_160619

First, we’ll start off with my favorite fragrance from Lush, “Snow Fairy”. It’s a seasonal scent, so it only comes around Christmastime, meaning I want to buy everything I can in the fragrance! I didn’t include the “Snow Fairy” bath bombs; those are listed below. But here’s the top selling “Snow Fairy” products at Lush:

  1. Snow Fairy Shower Gel: One of the most popular items. It smells like cotton candy, bubblegum, and sugar all mixed in together. It’s such a girly, feminine fragrance. There’s little specs of glitter in the shower gel, meaning you’ll smell amazing and also shine each time you use it.
  2. Snow Fairy Body Conditioner: Made with mango butter and vegetarian glycerin, this body conditioner is made specifically for dry, winter skin in need of moisture. The cool part about this (other than being cotton candy scented), is you use it in the shower or bath. Rub it on your skin, then rinse off with water. It makes your skin feel fabulous.
  3. Snow Fairy Scented Fairy Dust: This fairy dust is to be used after taking a shower or a bath. Dust yourself with this powder and watch your skin transform. Your skin will be lightly fragranced and shining bright.
  4. Snow Fairy Fun Bar: Like the other “FUN” bars, this one is scented with “Snow Fairy” and comes with three pieces that you can use as a soap, shampoo, or bubble bath. It’s texture is like clay, and can lather up nicely if you take a piece and rub it in your hands. Alternatively, run it under water to create a relaxing, luxurious bubble bath (my personal fave).
  5. Santa’s Belly Shower Jelly: This one is scented with “Santa’s Belly”, a spicier fragrance than the “Snow Fairy”. The shower jelly is this gooey blob that looks like fun to play with, but it’s actually a great cleanser for your skin. Wet the jelly, lather up, and rinse. It’s covered with gold glitter pieces to make you in the holiday spirit.

20171207_160529

Next we have the collection of  winter 2017 bath bombs and bubble bars! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to grab the “Giant Golden Wonder” bomb before it went out of stock. Here’s hoping I’ll get lucky next year!

  1. Candy Mountain Bubble Bar: This one is scented with “Snow Fairy”, of course.
  2. Magic Wand: Also scented with “Snow Fairy”, and as you can see by the picture, it’s super shimmery as well. It comes with a sparkly silver bow and a little bell. Run it under your bath, and watch your tub transform before your very eyes.
  3. Snow Fairy Bath Bomb: This bath bomb is a jelly bomb, so once your bath bomb fizzes up, the jelly disperses, making your bath super soft and skin really smooth. And, the jelly is fun and slimy. Who’s to say only kids can play in the bathtub?
  4. Thundersnow Bath Bomb: This Earth looking bath bomb is mint chocolate scented. It’s like bathing in a cup of minty hot chocolate. Yummy.
  5. Christmas Sweater Bath Bomb: Almost as satisfying as an ugly Christmas sweater itself. It’s spicy cinnamon scented, reminding me of those hot cinnamon candies you get on Valentine’s Day. How sweet it is.
  6. Golden Wonder Bath Bomb: Just like it’s advertised on Lush’s website: “Bathe in liquid gold.” It’s citrus, sparkly, and the perfect Christmastime bath bomb. And the Giant Golden Wonder Bath Bomb is over five times its size. This one is 200 grams, whereas the giant one is a whopping 1100 grams.

Untitled 2Untitled 4unnamed

These ones I actually just picked up this evening. They had a buy one get one free sale, and how can I refuse such an offer? These little guys are as follows:

  1. Santa’s Christmas Naked Shower Cream: This one is great, and I am so happy I found it. There were only three left when I arrived at the mall, so I came just in time. It’s cherry cola scented. Cherry. Cola. Another one of my absolute favorite scents and flavors of all time. It may not be pretty or shiny like Lush’s other products, but the creamy lather you get from using it in the shower paired up with the sweet sugary scent make up for it.
  2. My Two Front Teeth Bubble Bar: Confused about what exactly it is that you’re looking at? Think of the song. “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth . . .” You are looking at a pair of lips and two ginormous front teeth, because who else would think of that except for Lush?!
  3. Oatifix Fresh Face Mask: Not a Christmas/winter exclusive, but a great face mask for dry skin. I bought this one for my boyfriend, who has dry skin as it is, and in the winter gets even worse from the dry air.
  4. BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask: Also not a Christmas/winter only item, but I bought it for my skin to invigorate and freshen up my face. This mask is perfect for all skin types, from oily, to dry, to normal, to combo skin.

I absolutely love all of these Lush products! What other ones should I try next?

Summer & Fall Lush Haul 2017

Good evening bloggers! I’ve decided to share with you some of my fave Lush products from mid to late 2017. Of course I will be heading soon to Lush to stock up on the wintertime and Christmas goodies, but for now, here’s some of my favorites that I’ve picked up from August to October 2017.

1.) Rainbow Bath Oils

20170317_00392520170317_003943

There are so many reasons that I love these little bath tablets. Not only do they smell fabulous, but there are so many uses for them, and they support a great cause. You can use them as a shampoo, a body wash, or as a bubble bath. Since there are seven of them, they last quite a long time, and each one comes with a unique fruity fragrance. Plus, each one sold donates some of the profits to Japanese children who are living in unsafe conditions and unable to play outside. So next time you’re at Lush, go grab yourself a tube of these fun rainbow multipurpose bath oil tablets and make a difference in the world while you’re at it. Here’s the link to purchase: https://www.lush.ca/en/bath/fun/rainbow/06581.html

2.) August 2017 Haul

20170817_234827

This haul included many different items, including:

  • Pink Bath Bomb
  • Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar
  • Yellow Submarine Bath Bomb
  • Karma Bubble Bar
  • Scrubee Body Scrub Bar
  • Chocolate Lip Scrub
  • Bling Toothpaste Tablets

I love Lush because not only are their products all natural and against animal testing, but they are also incredibly unique. Rather than the waste toothpaste can create, their toothy tablets are a great alternative to standard toothpaste. The chocolate lip scrub works wonders, and all of the bath products are fantastically fragrant and make your skin feel soft and smooth after a nice, relaxing bath. All of these products get a thumbs up from me.

3.) September 2017 Haul

20170911_215549

My September haul consisted of lots of products I have never tried before, including their masks for hands and salted coconut body scrub. The products I tried are as follows:

  • Rosy Cheeks Face Mask
  • Golden Handshake Hand Mask
  • Salted Coconut Body Scrub
  • Cheer Up Buttercup Bath Bomb
  • Rocket Science Bath Bomb
  • Yuzu and Cocoa Bubble Bar

Unlike other face masks, the Rosy Cheeks mask actually made my skin tingle. It felt so nice and made my skin look so bright and refreshed afterwards. Now, I haven’t actually gotten around to using the hand mask yet, but the salted coconut scrub is the ultimate scrub for your skin, especially dry hands. And, as always, the bath products were amazing. I loved the Yuzu and Cocoa bubble bar; it had such an amazing chocolaty yet sweet fragrance.

4.) October 2017 Haul

20171005_231538

How cute are these? By far, the holiday ones (Halloween and Christmas) are the most clever designs. These cuties are:

  • Monster’s Ball Bath Bomb
  • Pumpkin Bath Bomb
  • Bewitched Bubble Bar
  • Ectoplasm Bath Bomb

You may still be able to find these at Lush, but probably not. All the Christmas stock has taken over; but hey, you might get lucky. These Halloween bath bombs are scary good, with sweet fragrances and cute designs.

That’s all for this haul. Stay tuned soon for my haul of winter and Christmas 2017 Lush goodies!

Until next time,

Adorable Goodies: Macaroon Bath Bombs

The other day I was looking around the mall when I popped into Ardène and went to their accessory/beauty section. Immediately I noted their adorable products, mostly their bright pink macaroon bath bombs. At first I wasn’t sure what it was because I had never seen a bath bomb shaped as a macaroon before. And I fell in love! The scent is super sweet and girly, leaving you feeling silky smooth with a hint of candy smelling sweetness. Plus, the shape is a bright pink macaroon. What’s not to love?!

You can pick these up at Ardène for $6.50 CAD each. Maybe next time they’ll make a pizza bath bomb. Now that would be perf.
