I was really excited to find out that I now have a knowledge panel on Google, as well as a profile added to the website Famous Birthdays. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me in the past, and continues to support me today. It feels really cool now to be a recognized author, blogger, and YouTuber across the web when people search my name.

My Fave Blogs

If you’re on the internet daily then odds are you have some blogs that are your absolute favourites. Here are a few bloggers that make me smile.

1.) Zoella

http://www.zoella.co.uk/

zoella

Sadly, Zoella doesn’t blog as much as she used to. Because now she’s on YouTube full time! At least this way we can see more of her beautiful face. Zoe Sugg—known famously as Zoella—is a British beauty and lifestyle blogger. She’s a fashionista and a beauty queen. Everything from her laugh, to her accent, to her eyes, to her smile (and mostly her hair) is just stunning. I could read her blogs all day! She’s got great advice, and keeps quite a stylish blog. Please post more often, Zoella!

2.) Fat Mum Slim

http://fatmumslim.com.au/

Yes, you read that right. A lot of people think Chantelle’s blog is “Fat Muslim”, but it’s “Fat Mum Slim.” Just take a second glance. Now I think a lot of families and mothers read her blog, but it’s not all family oriented. She’s got a lot of great advice regarding writing and blogging. She makes lists of things to blog about, recipes, blogging tips, and more. She’s one cool Australian lady!

3) Lisi Harrison

My contribution to #booksarentdangerous. Now show me yours. (via Twitter.com/lisiharrison) 📚🔪💁🏼

http:/www.lisiharrison.com

Lisi is actually one of my fave authors, and she just so happens to be the one who inspired me to start writing my books. So thanks, Lisi! She’s also gave me lots of writing advice before and even told me that I have a lovely website. She’s so sweet! She’s the author of lots of series such as “The Clique”, “The Alphas”, “Monster High”, “The Pretenders”, and one that not too many people know about considering she’s a young adult writer and this book is erotic, ‘The Dirty Book Club”. And yes, she is the one who invented the real “Monster High” that all of the children love today! Go check out her blog. She’s hilarious, spunky, sassy, sweet, and gives great advice and tips for girls.

Thus far I’m mainly a writer rather than a reader, this is why there is only three ladies on this list. However when I become passionate about more blogs, I shall let you guys know who to check out next! See you later! xoxo

“Monster High” Book Review

monsterhigh

Hello loves. Instead of writing out my whole book review, I shall just show you the video in which I talk about it. To summarize, I gave this book a 6.5 out of 10. I love Lisi Harrison and she’s very sweet and all of her book series are pretty entertaining. The books aren’t what I would classify as great literature, but they are fun to read and the characters are cool. There’s a lot of things that make me angry in the books (well, all of Lisi’s books to be exact) but that doesn’t stop me from reading them. To learn more about the review, click the video below.

Also I just have to say, I think I prefer the cartoons! I absolutely love the cartoon and I think that it’s great for kids because it teaches life lessons unlike what I had when I was younger. (I had My Scene. All they did was shop, party, and talk about their boyfriends. Congratulations corporate companies, kids media keeps getting better and better!)

In my opinion though, My Scene will still always be the greatest thing on this planet. Well, one of them, anyway.

Rest In Peace Jasper

It feels so weird having to write one of these again. As my readers know, my hamster Hammie passed away on Friday the 13th in February due to illness. Jasper, my skinny pig that I got a week later, had to go to the vets two weeks after I got him because he had a head tilt. The vets were highly uneducated in small animals (I didn’t know at the time there was a small vet animal hospital in my city) so they weren’t able to tell what was wrong with him. They gave him medicine and the tilt seemed to go away. But I stayed the night away from home a few days ago, only to come home and find Jasper dead in his cage. I read online that an unhealthy skinny pig’s rips, spine, and hind legs are visible and Jasper’s were completely visible but it was on Wikipedia and I figured you can’t believe everything you read on the internet. I took a picture and was going to upload to a vet website and see what was the matter, but by the time I had time to do so, it was too late. I had a slight suspicion that maybe Jasper had something wrong with him but he was eating [a lot] just fine so I figured he was okay, and he seemed happy and was of course adorable. When I went to the pet store the day he died to get a new one, they told me that he was probably sick from the day I got him. I just didn’t know anything about skinny pigs so was unable to tell the difference between a healthy one, and unhealthy one. But when I first found Jasper dead, I went into shock, my whole body tensed up and I felt unbelievably sore for the rest of the day. I didn’t know what could’ve happened. I felt terrible. I was going to come home that night too but stayed late at Jacob’s to finish our animation. Of course I know it wasn’t my fault but I feel a bit guilty at times. And guess what? Jasper passed on Friday the 13th of March. Both pets died on Friday the 13th. My new skinny pig, named Pinkie, will be with me at all times on the next Friday the 13th which is in November of this year. That day won’t mess with my pets again.

Even though I only had Jasper for three weeks, and I thought I’d have him for at least five years, I became attached to him quick. I wrote blogs about him, essays even, and talked about him non-stop and thought about him constantly. I got a locket that says “I Love You” and I will be putting Jasper and Hammie’s pictures inside.

I miss him already and he will remain in my memories and heart forever. R.I.P Jasper ❤

What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

Once again, it’s that big question. We get asked when we’re little and we get asked until we’re adults. Then it’s that decision. So, what do you want to do when you grow up? Be a teacher? Musician? Nurse? Scientist? Whatever it may be, you have time to become anything you want until the day you die. It doesn’t matter if you say “I want to be _____ when I grow up” at age six or thirty-six. There’s always time. No matter what anyone tries to tell you.

As a young person still myself, I sometimes get stressed thinking about the future. What if I can’t obtain my goals? What if I get distracted? What if I change my mind? What college/university program do I apply to? It can all be very stressful.

Sometimes I feel like I have no clue what I’m doing with my life when people (mostly family) asks: “What are you going to do as a career?” And I answer, “Um, I don’t know.” BUT I DO KNOW. Author. That’s all it’s ever been and that’s all it ever will be.

(Of course, I’m not going to become successful right away so I’ll need a career to start off with. And that’s where the “I don’t know”s come in to place.)

But ever since I was a baby I’d stack books up so high, knock them all down and stack them up again. I’d flip through them even though I couldn’t read. I was fascinated by books. And even back then, family would always say: “When she grows up she’s going to be a teacher, librarian, or an author.” Right they were!

Like previously said, I’m still young. I have over fifty years to accomplish this goal. I don’t care if I get published next week or in twenty years. (That’s a lie, sooner than later, please.) As long as I become this one day, I will be able to die in peace. Seriously. This is what I wanted since I was a toddler and I never gave it a second thought.

Writing novels since a kid, my first one that I self-published was when I was only eleven. Thus far I’ve self-published two. Yes, I am happy and feel somewhat accomplished by this. And I enjoy writing this blog daily. But being professionally published is the dream.

Being an author as a full-time career would feel like heaven on earth. Waking up in the morning and getting coffee and writing for hours and hours a day just seems so sublime . . .

I’ll stop rambling on now—but the point of this blog is, time is precious. Make the most out of it. Dream big and high and be fully prepared to reach the dreams. If you chase your dreams for five years and give up just because it seems like you’ll never get there, then you will never get there. You need to always chase them no matter how tough it gets. Because you’re worth it. You deserve it. And you will do it.
